General Manager – The Drove Brewers Fayre, Newhaven

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, our General Managers play a pivotal role in the success of the business. It’s all about building a winning team and delivering a consistently great experience for every guest.

It takes a strong, engaged team to deliver a best in class restaurant experience, so you’ll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, onboarding, and inducting new team members
  • Inspiring, developing, and leading your management and front of house teams to drive engagement and retention
  • Maximising revenue through sales analysis, forecasting, and seizing commercial opportunities
  • Taking full accountability for controllable costs and overall site P&L
  • Supporting the Regional Operations Manager in delivering long term business objectives
  • Driving individual and team performance through regular one to ones and clear objectives
  • Thriving in a high volume, fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Leading by example with clear passion for the Brewers Fayre brand and its values
  • Ensuring brand standards, health & safety, and compliance are met at all times
  • Demonstrating a genuine commitment to achieving outstanding guest satisfaction measures
